The concept of a new year is very often both appealing yet depressing at the same time. As we venture into a new year, I can't help but think that we are never given a clean slate but rather continue. We never restart but a new year calls for new chances and opportunities for us to change and improve. We may never have struck off every resolution that were diligently written, at the start of every year, in our notebooks but I do believe that we may have accomplished certain personal goals.
I enjoy reflecting about the past and look ahead into the future because it always reminds me of death. It made me realised that we can never grab hold of time for time slips off through the gaps in our grip. Uncontrollable.
I am fully aware for the fact that I could never start fresh but I do know that I can and I will use my time as wisely as possible.
